Pantheon Paris was built between 1758 and 1790, from designs by Jacques-Germain Soufflot, at the behest of King Louis XV of France. It was originally contemplated as a church, but after the French Revolution, it was decided to be used as a mausoleum.

Pantheon is built on a hill overlooking Paris and it is dedicated to Sainte Genevieve, who is believed to be the city's protector. There is Foucault Pendulum and numerous sculptures and murals on the ground floor of the Pantheon. Also, there are tombs of famous figures from the history of France.
