A Man Spends the Night on the Eiffel Tower After DJ Snake’s Private Concert

The Shocking Eiffel Tower Incident
Was he an obsessed DJ Snake fan who couldn’t get a ticket to the artist’s exclusive concert on the Eiffel Tower? No one knows for sure.
But on Monday night, following DJ Snake’s private performance, a man managed to stay hidden inside Paris’s most iconic landmark, all night long.
According to French media reports, the man entered the Eiffel Tower around 9:30 p.m. with a valid ticket. Unbeknownst to anyone, he planned to remain there after closing. Equipped with a GoPro camera, he quietly hid inside and stayed until 10:20 a.m. the next morning.
Security Cameras Reveal an Overnight Stay
Surveillance footage confirmed that he roamed parts of the tower throughout the night. When staff reopened the monument, they were shocked to find traces of his overnight adventure.
Fortunately, inspections showed no damage or safety hazards, but the situation exposed a major security lapse in one of the world’s most visited landmarks.
Eiffel Tower Operator Files Official Complaint
The tower’s management company, SETE (Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel), filed a formal complaint for unauthorized presence inside the monument.
Authorities are investigating how the man managed to remain undetected for over thirteen hours, despite advanced monitoring systems and nightly maintenance routines.
Not the First Eiffel Tower Security Breach
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time someone has slept inside the Eiffel Tower.
In August 2023, two American tourists were discovered asleep after hours — reportedly locked in after a night of drinking.
Over the years, thrill-seekers have also attempted illegal climbs, base jumps, and other dangerous stunts from the tower, all strictly prohibited and punishable by law.
Why This Eiffel Tower Incident Matters
While the story sounds amusing, it highlights serious safety and operational concerns for one of Paris’s busiest tourist attractions.
The Eiffel Tower welcomes over six million visitors each year, and its nighttime operations involve cleaning, maintenance, and technical inspections.
Having an unauthorized person inside creates major problems:
🚨 Security breach: Interferes with surveillance and night work.
⚖️ Liability risk: If an injury occurred, responsibility would be unclear.
🧹 Operational disruption: Night staff rely on an empty site for safe maintenance.
A Reminder for Visitors to Paris
For anyone visiting the Eiffel Tower, this incident serves as a reminder: respect the visiting hours and safety rules.
Staying behind for a “unique experience” might sound exciting, especially after a glamorous event like DJ Snake’s concert, but it can lead to serious legal trouble.
Instead, enjoy the Iron Lady the right way: from its breathtaking observation decks, with the Paris skyline glittering at night.
Paris’ Iron Lady Still Shines
Despite this unusual event, the Eiffel Tower remains a timeless symbol of love, art, and wonder.
Whether as a concert venue, a proposal spot, or a place of inspiration, it continues to stand tall, the shining heart of Paris.
