  • Tours do not operate during Mass or religious ceremonies.
  • Please respect the places reserved for prayer and silence.
  • Please dress respectfully (no hats, no tank tops, shorts above the knee, etc.). Visitors who do not comply may be denied entry by cathedral staff, and in such cases, we cannot be held responsible and no refunds will be issued.
  • Children under 6 years old can enter the Cathedral free of charge without a ticket. However, all visitors aged 6 and above must have a valid ticket to enter.
  • Large bags and suitcases, knives, metal water bottles are not allowed inside.
  • It is forbidden to stand or speak in front of the reliquary of the Crown of Thorns, as well as to enter the choir or chapels clearly marked as reserved. Please ensure that you maintain silence and avoid lingering in front of these areas during your visit.
  • All visitors undergo security screening upon entry. For this reason, any priority access is NOT possible.
  • No restrooms are available inside the Cathedral; public facilities are available nearby on rue d’Arcole .
  • Admission to Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral is free of charge. The services offered are independent of admission to the building.

The guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable on the history of Notre Dame and the challenges involved with the fire repairs and progress. She was very interactive with the group and looked after us very well.

It was the highlight of a very short trip - to see the Notre Dame again and finally Jesus’ Crown of Thorns. Our guide Aida was well spoken and engaging. She was vivacious as she shared compelling stories of the cathedral which helped us focus albeit the crowds and a bit of noise.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Aida met us on time and was very friendy. She spoke very good English. She was well versed in the history of Notre Dame. She spent an extra 10 minutes inside the church with us. We learned so much about Notre Dame as a result of the tour. I would recommend this tour.
