  • Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Last admission is at 5.15 pm. Rooms are cleared 20 minutes before museum closing time.
  • Closed on Mondays, January 1st, May 1st and December 25.
  • The museum is free on the 1st Sunday of the month.
  • Entry to the museum is free for visitors under 18 and for all EU resident under 26 presenting an identification.
  • Address: Musée national Picasso-Paris, 5 rue de Thorigny, 75003 Paris.
  • The museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users, except for one historic room that cannot be modified.
  • Wheelchairs and seat canes are available upon request at the reception desk (ID required, no reservation needed).
  • For security reasons, large suitcases and bulky bags are not allowed and cannot be stored at the museum.
  • A free cloakroom is available on level -1 (access via the stairs to the right of the lobby); backpacks and umbrellas must be left there before your visit.
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome with proof of eligibility.

I enjoyed it very much. There was no lineup which was wonderful. I really enjoyed going through all 5 floors of this museum! I hadn’t realized it would be so extensive. I loved seeing the very well behaved school groups starting from wee ones. And how engaging the staff were with them.

Having just arrived that morning in Paris this visit was a lovely start to our trip. What a truly amazing museum! We would highly recommend this museum for anyone who loves great art! WOW!!! We were blown away.
